LOWER FAIRINGS WITH SPEAKER POD OR GLOVE BOX
Retail: $609.50 Product Description: This is a brand new set of Lower Vented Fairings for your Harley-Davidson motorcycle from Vixen Bolt on Creations. These fairings are painted Vivid Black and include speaker pods and quick change hardware. These are a direct replacement for stock lower vented fairings. The glovebox covers snap on just like OEM and the adjustable vents rotate and feature detents that securely lock into place while riding. The quick change hardware is great and makes installation a snap. Literally no tools are required! Large thumb screws are easy to tighten by hand. First time installation usually takes less than 30 minutes once everything has been unpacked.The fairings are made from injection molded ABS plastic. With injection molding, the shape, contour, and mounting hole locations are all designed using modeling software on a computer. The model created on the computer is then used to create the design for the die that will be used to physically make the parts. The die consists of two large metal halves that are CNC machined from billet steel. The desired contour, shape, and mounting hole locations are all machined into the die. During part production, the two die halves are presseds together, molten ABS material is injected in, and the part is formed. The only part of the process involving humans is the unloading of the die. This process ensures that every piece manufactured is EXACTLY the same as the one before and after.
